After three and a half years of touring the world and performing with Kool and The Gang as a lead vocalist, background singer and dancer, Jirmad Gordon brings forth his highly anticipated debut solo album entitled "E Pluribus Unum" releasing world-wide digitally on March 16, 2010 through TCO Entertainment / J&J Film & Media / Sonic Flux Music. For this album, Jirmad has teamed up with record and film producer Stephen "Stix" Josey. Jirmad and Stix have come together in collaboration to create a unique sound that combines the classic vibe of old school along with the innovative forward reaching music of today’s youth and the future. The album is produced by Stephen “Stix” Josey and co-produced by Jirmad "$oulo" Gordon and showcases the lyric writing and vocal arrangement skills of Jirmad. Jirmad is very excited for the opportunity to display the wide variety of talents and abilities in his arsenal outside of his singing ability. Stephen "Stix" Josey is credited for his work with major artists such as the rap group Mobb Deep and Grammy award winning singer John Legend, as well as a wide variety of work in film and television. With a unique blend of the sensual soul of Marvin Gaye combined with the raw passion of James Brown, the youth and lyrical creativity of R. Kelly, Jirmad Gordon is definitely a force to be reckoned with. About “E Pluribu$ Unum” "E Pluribu$ Unum" by definition describes an action: Many uniting into one. A more accurate translation of the motto is "Out of many, One"- a phrase that eloquently captures the imagery of Jirmad Gordon on his first solo album. With the seductive, clever wordplay of the album’s first single "$explane", to the imaginative imagery of "When GOD Made Woman", where Jirmad pays tribute to what he feels is God's GREATEST creation… Woman! "Addicted To Money", is a gritty, street savvy collaboration with legendary artist Oran "Juice" Jones, where Jirmad shows us just how many ways he can sing the word "Money" in a song. While listening to the edgy, yet soulful debut album “E Pluribus Unum”, the listener will experience the clever way in which Jirmad and his co-producer Stephen “Stix” Josey put together a legendary album for the industry to relish for decades to come. # # #
