(eMusicWire.Org) – Ghosts in The Valley, an original rock three-piece band from the suburbs of Philadelphia, is proud to announce the release of its first full-length album. Subtle As A Brick contains nine original songs and is already receiving positive reviews from local press.

Formed in late 2008, Ghosts In The Valley has toured throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including several shows in NYC & DC. Comprised of veteran scene musicians Scotty Why, Sam Pinola and Shawn Womer, Ghosts In The Valley has been described as "pop-drizzled hardcore" by The Baltimore City Paper, while The Philly Rock Blog has said "they have a raw older hardcore punk meets late 80’s alternative rock sound, like something you would hear on an SST sampler alongside Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, fIREHOSE, Hüsker Dü and Minutemen."

Subtle As A Brick was recorded by Joe Procopio and mixed in late 2009 at New Sofa Sound in Bucks County, PA. The album will be available at music retailers and via the band's website from March 2010. All songs were written and performed by Ghosts In The Valley.

To support the new album, Ghosts In The Valley will be playing several live shows in the Philadelphia area, beginning with the dates listed below.
