The multimedia venture between two of the trendiest forces in LA, features the band’s new T-shirt designed by Sextronauts’ lead singer Tanner Horn, their single and controversial music video. Horn also included an abstract painting of his as part of the display.
About this unusual collaboration, Sextronauts lead singer Tanner Horn says: “The Sextronauts display at SLOW solidifies that this is more than a band and I am more than a musician. It has a painting of mine that is one of my favorites and the band t-shirts are a glimpse into the colorful mind of Tanner Horn outside of music.” A source close to the project said the current economy is forcing retailers and businesses to think outside the box. "The marriage between music and fashion has always been a strong one. Why not use it to increase foot traffic and at the same time provide a unique shopping experience?" The notorious Tanner Horn formed Sextronauts in 2006 and quickly became known in the local Los Angeles club scene for his high-energy, risqué performances. They achieved initial success with the release of Tanner Horn & The Astronauts Before Breakfast in 2007. But it was the release of the red-hot SEXtronauts in 2009 that cemented Tanner Horn as the King of Sexrok becoming the object of female and male attention everywhere.
