(eMusicWire.Org) – American Country Showcase (ACS), a National Country Music Talent Search, is proud to announce that Six String in Bloomington, IL has signed on as an official ACS venue.

ACS is America's Premier Search for the next Country Music Superstar!! ACS knows how hard it is for today’s young talent to break into the music industry. ACS and its official venue partners across the country will provide the opportunity for someone’s musical dreams to come true. ACS is a singing competition where the winners are decided by the fans; well, until the Nationals, then the professionals choose.

Six Strings is located in Downtown Bloomington. They are central Illinois' Premier Country Entertainment Venue. They feature the best local and national country artists. From dance lessons and mechanical bull rides to live entertainment, and now ACS; they guarantee a funfilled night of quality entertainment .

Current competition dates are:

Preliminaries: March (17,24, 31), April (7,14,21), May (5), Jun (4, 11, 18, 25), July (9, 16, 23)
Venue Qualifiers: April 28th & July 30th
