Email Friend Contact Author (eMusicWire.Org) – On Monday, March 1st, 2010, Anthony Burdette known on air as Tony Luv, announced that he will be leaving Street Beat Radio. The online entertainment jaugernaut was created in February of 2008 by Anthony and Mix Master Ice. After Mix Master Ice left the company, Anthony took over complete control and took Street Beat Radio to an higher level. Street Beat Radio now broadcast to 19 million listeners weekly.
Anthony announced Monday during a live broadcast of Street Words, his show that he would be leaving the company effective March 25th, 2010. He expressed that he is pursuing a military career. "Military and the United States Army is my dream..." said Anthony Burdette, early Tuesday morning to the press. "Street Beat Radio is my baby and it will be hard to leave such a wonderful project, but I'll be back" Tony also noted. Street Beat Radio will continue to produce four weekly shows including Street Words, Station. Rock!, Studio 816 and INDive. The shift is creative power has still not been announced.
