(eMusicWire.Org) – Artist Don B. of the INpire label is creating a ruckus in the music industry with his newest release entitled “Brand New Dreams.” In an interview with the press, he describes his direction in music as one that “embodies a positive message encouraging listeners to experience good vibes and harmonious emotions.” He indicated that he was disgusted with the current direction that Hip-Hop has taken to objectifying women and worshiping materialistic values. While Don B. states that he wants his music to be completely detach from the culture of materialism, some of his lyrics in his song embody the very values he attempts to deconstruct. To explain this facet of his music he exclaims, “Change is not immediate! Obama’s failure to pass healthcare is a prime example, in order for people to accept change it has to be gradually implemented.” His primary focus is on gathering a fan base to make the acceptance of his future message not only compulsory but expected.
