Each winery will be hosting wine tastings, vineyard and cellar tours, live music, evening concerts, special events, and outdoor cookin’ from pig roasts and barbeque ribs to rotisserie chicken and grilled “Meats of Independence”. Wineries involved include: Black Walnut Winery, Sadsburyville, PA Chaddsford Winery, Chadds Ford, PA Kreutz Creek Vineyards, West Grove, PA Paradocx Vineyard, Landenberg, PA Penns Woods Winery, Chadds Ford, PA Stargazers Vineyard, Coatesville, PA Twin Brook Winery, Gap, PA The Brandywine Valley Wine Trail created the BBQ Weekend as a way to expose regional residents to the exciting wine industry that has developed in southeastern PA and to showcase the high quality wines being made there. No passport is required and there is no fee to attend other than the wineries’ individual tasting fees (ranging from $5-$8) for those who choose to participate in a wine tasting, and any food costs. Some wineries also offer Friday and Saturday evening concerts with admission fees.
