Behind The Shades is a musical extension of Sheila Raye Charles' autobiography; which ironically coins the same title.

Although Sheila is the daughter of the legendary soul singer Ray Charles, she is definitely one-of-a-kind and brings her own unique style to the world of music.

Behind The Shades exemplifies that music from the heart still exists. Behind every track, there lies a story and with every story, the listener is taken on a virtual journey of emotions from Sheila's perspective.
