(eMusicWire.Org) – "Crazy Piano Guy” Colin Huggins and Manhattan Mini Storage join forces to bring live music to the streets of New York.

Two years ago Colin Huggins, classically trained pianist and Music Director at the Joffrey Ballet School, was feeling uninspired. Not sure exactly what to do, he decided to drag his piano to Washington Square Park. That afternoon, a new street musician was born. “I felt so much better about myself and so much more connected to the community here and the arts in general,” says Huggins. It didn’t take long for him to plan another outing and to start searching for more used pianos to provide him with easy access to them in a variety of neighborhoods.

His secret to success? Manhattan Mini Storage’s many convenient NY locations!

Huggins has won over the hearts of NY with his musical talent. But the question he is asked most often is how he gets his full-sized pianos on to the subway platforms to begin with (he considers this a trade secret). Although it’s not easy to transport a piano, Manhattan Mini Storage has made it easier by providing free storage for Colin’s pianos at locations close to his preferred locations.

Manhattan Mini Storage has been part of the Manhattan community for over forty years and is committed to helping New Yorkers live a more stress free life. Just ask Colin and his fans!
